The ENRYB prefix was first registered in 1979 when the show world became my main interest with Irish Setters. After a successful 10 years in the ring and judging various gundogs, along came the weimaraners and then later the pointers and more recently my Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas. Life has never been the same since the arrival of these loveable, versatile gingers !!!! A little bit about myself, I have been brought up with dogs and have owned gundogs since 1979 when I purchased my very first dog, an Irish Setter and registered the ENRYB affix, which is of course my surname in reverse ! Gundogs became part of life and over the years I have owned and shown Irish Setters, Pointers, Weimaraners and Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas. Although I thoroughly enjoy the shows, my true passion is seeing my dogs work on local shoots and on the moors displaying their natural ability. I also enjoy gundog training and successfully compete in Field Trials and Working Tests. My judging career to date spans over thirty five years, I have judged all gundog breeds at Open shows with many Group and Best in Show appointments. I am approved to award CCs in fourteen Gundog breeds and I am a Championship show gundog group judge. Behind the scenes at home is Martin who supports me in everything we do with the dogs which allows me to travel to shows and competitions whilst he keeps everything in line at home !

We are a small yet very successful team where our dogs are first and foremost family companions, they all enjoy holidays with us and spend their time together enjoying life on a daily basis. We pride ourselves in producing stock of sound temperament and conformation and dogs which are fit for function, we only tend to breed when wanting a new addition to our team. Prior to breeding, all stock is DNA tested and hip scored in line with KC recommended schemes. I offer aftercare advice and support to owners and I am at the end of the phone when needed. Occasionally puppies are selected for the showring and also as working gundogs, however they are available as family pets and companions.

All the dogs at ENRYB are encouraged to work from an early age with a view to competing in Working Tests and Field Trials. They work on several shoots both in the beating line and picking up throughout the season. We are very proud of the excellent show success they continue to achieve making them truly dual purpose gundogs, as well as first and foremost our family.
